Over her storied profession, Jennifer Lawrence’s minimalist, elegant type has helped earn her ambassador roles at many main style manufacturers, together with Swiss watchmaker Longines, which tapped Lawrence in late 2022 as an “ambassador of magnificence.”
The Oscar-winning actress is teaming up with Longines once more to be the face of its marketing campaign for the corporate’s Mini Dolcevita watch assortment. Forward of the gathering’s launch, WWD sat down with Lawrence to debate her ambassador position with Longines, her love of watches and what magnificence means to her.
On what makes Longines match:
“I really like a model that’s conceptual and inventive. You clearly have to love what they make and the way they work and it’s been actually easy, the partnership with Longines, and I really like their watches.”
On her introduction to watches:
“It developed over time. My brother-in-law when my husband and I obtained married gave me a watch that their father gave them after they had been youthful. It was such a sentimental, superb gesture and so ever since then I’ve had a love for watches. It grew from there.”
On time administration as a brand new mom:
“Time is so valuable, particularly after you’ve a toddler. I really feel like I simply recognize each second now. And being on time has at all times been necessary for me as a result of I really feel like nobody expects me to be on time, so it’s at all times necessary for me to be immediate and arranged.”
On her personal heirloom items:
“In my household we weren’t enormous heirloom keepers, however I married into an enormous sentimental household, so I’ve a necklace with two items of die, cube, and it’s as a result of my husband and I play backgammon and that’s clearly very sentimental.”
On what magnificence means to her:
